Participate in the Eagle County Democratic Party’s Virtual Caucus & Assembly

  1. By Friday, February 16, affiliate with the Democratic Party if you haven’t already. Be sure your voter registration address (street address where you reside) is current. You can do this at the Secretary of State’s website: govotecolorado.gov
    Note: 16- and 17-year-old pre-registered Democrats are eligible to participate.

     

  2. By Friday, February 16, register for the Eagle Dems virtual Caucus & Assembly. You can do this at the Eagle Dems website: eagledems.org
     

  3. On Saturday, March 9, attend the virtual Caucus & Assembly on Zoom as a delegate (supporter) for Tom. The caucus will be held at 3:00 pm, and Assembly will follow at 3:30 pm.

Participate in the Petition Process as a Circulator or Signatory

  1. After January 16, pick up a petition from Tom Boyd or Wendy Rimel.
     

  2. Gather signatures from friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers who are eligible voters.
     

  3. Return petitions before Friday, March 16.

Colorado Primary Election FAQs

 

  • Voters affiliated with a major party: may cast a ballot for candidates of the party they are affiliated with.
     

  • Voters affiliated with a minor party: if there is a minor party contest those affiliated with that minor party may cast a ballot for those candidates.
     

  • Unaffiliated voters: An unaffiliated voter may cast a ballot for any one political party. If an unaffiliated voter returns a ballot with more than one political party, the ballot will be rejected and none of the votes will be counted.

($1,425 for the primary election + $1,425 for the general election)
